Imagine a day filled with nostalgia, laughter, and connections as St. Paul’s School opens its doors to welcome back alumni from all corners of the globe. That’s exactly what happened at the vibrant celebration known as “Old Paulean Day,” and the St. Paul’s Foundation was thrilled to be part of this extraordinary event!
Our presence at Old Paulean Day provided a golden opportunity to raise awareness about our scholarship program and its profound impact on the lives of deserving students. It was also a chance to strengthen our bonds with the remarkable and accomplished community of Old Pauleans. To support our cause, we sold commemorative mugs and biscuits, with all the revenue going to support our scholarship program.
“The Foundation’s participation in this event brought us the opportunity to be closer to the Old Paulean’s, getting to know them better and also providing a good exchange of experiences. We were able to show many of them that the FSP Scholarship Program is making the school environment much more inclusive, while giving less privileged children the chance to have an international standard education, like the one they had”, said Carolina Righi, General Manager of St. Paul’s Foundation.
All who have studied, graduated from or worked at St. Paul’s are considered “Old Pauleans” and are able to engage with former colleagues via the Old Pauleans portal and also through this special event.
Our current scholars will also benefit from their connection with this community, as they gain inspiration from the stories of Old Pauleans who have thrived beyond school. Additionally, they can participate in initiatives like work-shadowing and mentorship programs.
Let’s continue celebrating the enduring bonds and experiences that make the St. Paul’s community exceptional. We express our gratitude to our Old Pauleans for their ongoing support, passion, and commitment, as they inspire and uplift the next generation of scholars.
Together, we are shaping a future where every child has the opportunity to succeed and make a lasting impact on the world.
