Using the expression “remarkable” to refer to what 2022 was like at St. Paul’s Foundation might sound like a cliché, but this is probably the best word to start defining what this year represented to our scholars and the community.
With an eye on the future, preparing ourselves for a new cycle in life and for the Scholarship Programme, we recall some of the highlights at the foundation for 2022 (click on the following links to read more):
- We received a record-high number of applicants in the latest selection process (2022-23);
- In the Gift-a-Girl event, special guests shared their journeys in Education and how scholarship opportunities changed their lives;
- Our scholar JP graduated as a St. Paul’s Class of 2022 leaver, and he is now in Germany, studying BA in Business and Engineering;
- We launched the new brand Cup of Joy, and had our first participation in St. Paul’s International Day;
- Four of our scholars enjoyed Summer Courses opportunities in three different countries;
- We welcomed new scholars and doubled our pupils from 9 to 18. We also hosted a special event to promote integration for all families;
- We saw many Enrichment opportunities and academic achievements for our scholars;
- Our scholars had brilliant participation in the traditional School Play;
- Our 20 candidates for 2023 entry enjoyed many learning opportunities in the first term of the preparation course.
While this is only a brief summary of the year, it shows how far our pupils and scholarship programme have come. We are delighted that our 18 young scholars have integrated so well into the school and that our candidates had such a rich learning journey. So proud of them all!
It has been a year of growth, laughter, learning, achievements, and hard work — all in all, another remarkable year!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us in any way. We could not have done this without our partners, staff and community. Together we made a difference.
In 2023, we wish to share more and more happy moments of our scholars’ and candidates’ lives.
As a special gift to our community, our scholars Analú and Rafaela have created an artwork you can see below. Have a wonderful Holiday season!
