For the first time ever, St. Paul’s Foundation promoted an event aiming at integrating scholars and their families. A special barbecue was organised and all scholars were invited to bring their families, allowing them to connect, learn more about each other and answer questions.
The event will hopefully be a yearly tradition, to celebrate both the beginning of a new school year and the beginning of a new adventure for our scholars who are just starting out at St. Paul’s.
“I’ve met parents and pupils with amazing stories, shared information to some and got great tips from other ones” said Claudia, Ana Claudia’s (Upper 6th scholar) mother.
“The barbecue fulfilled its purpose of integration really well. Everyone was very comfortable” shared Analice, Elisa’s (Lower 6th scholar) mother.
For Carolina Righi, St. Paul’s Foundation general manager, integration is the key to the relationship with families, moreover now that we have 18 scholars throughout Senior School. “While we do have more challenges now, it is really inspiring to be able to rely on the mutual support between the more experienced families and the newcomers.”
