As part of St. Paul’s Foundation Scholarship Programme, scholars are introduced to unique opportunities throughout their journey at St. Paul’s School. One of the main branches connects them to organisations and initiatives that can support them after graduating from school.
Recently, our scholars watched a presentation by representatives of the Latin American Leadership Academy (LALA) and from RISE, of Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust. Both programs are targeted to develop talent and leadership in the youth and are designed to guide these young leaders on their journey to impact their communities. While LALA welcomes applicants from 13 onwards, RISE opens for applications of 15-17 years old pupils and is a lifelong initiative.
As the Foundation scholarship programme supports scholars specifically during their time at St. Paul’s School, these programmes allow them to be supported for life, in university and entering the job market.
As well as being a networking opportunity for our scholars, the connection with these organisations opens space for a rich exchange, as they can spread the word to their pupils about our scholarship programme.
