We have fostered many inspiring stories through St. Paul’s Foundation scholarship programme, and the one we highlight today is Ana Claudia Bido’s, our most recent graduate (Class of 2023). Ana’s academic commitment and active involvement as a student leader and Sports Prefect have exemplified her exceptional qualities, as well as left an indelible mark on St. Paul’s community.

Ana now lives in the United States, studying at Macalester College with a full-ride scholarship. Ana has shared that while she has an intense new schedule, she has been managing her time well and taking advantage of all the facilities and features. Ana also celebrates the opportunity of meeting new people from all over the world.

On her St. Paul’s journey as a pupil, Ana took on a leadership position as Sports prefect, participated in the Duke of Edinburgh International Award’s expeditions, and joined volunteer work opportunities. She was also awarded a prize for Achievement in Portuguese Language and Literature in her last year at the school.

Ana Claudia has always dreamed about studying in an international school and living University life abroad. She applied to the St. Paul’s Foundation Scholarship programme in 2019 after doing her research about St. Paul’s School and the foundation. She joined St. Paul’s as a scholar in August 2020. You can learn more about Ana’s story in the video below:
